Bids are being accepted for our junk poles. It may be seen at the Alto Warehouse between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Bid as an entire load. The bid winner is responsible for the loading of the poles.
Open to all bidders.

To submit a valid bid the following information must be included:
- Bidder’s name, address, and daytime phone number.
- Make, model and last 4 digits of the VIN for the equipment being bid on.
- Signature of the bidder.
Terms and Conditions
Inspection: It is strongly recommended that all bidders physically inspect equipment prior to submitting their bid(s).All equipment is available for inspection at our Tularosa Warehouse at 100 Railroad Avenue, Tularosa New Mexico, 88352. Equipment is available for inspection from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday (closed Labor Day).
Buyer Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the buyer to obtain vehicle insurance and have temporary permits or plates as necessary for the purchased equipment prior to time of pick up. Buyers will be responsible to their respective county and state for required sales taxes on titled vehicles and trailers. Otero County Electric Cooperative will not obtain or be responsible for required emissions certification for any vehicle sold.
Payment: Certified Check, made payable to Otero County Electric Cooperative. The equipment must be paid for and removed within ten calendar days after the date of award notification. Pickup and sale delivery will be at the Tularosa Warehouse and will be the full responsibility of the buyer. The equipment must be paid for and removed within ten calendar days after the date of award notification.
Otero County Electric will collect the appropriate sales taxes on non-titled items.
Goods sold pursuant to this request for proposal are sold as is, where is, with all faults with no warranties as to merchantability or fitness. Buyer acknowledges that he has inspected the said goods and that Otero County Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Seller) has made no representations that said goods are fit for his intended uses or for use in any other particular manner. Buyer hereby agrees to relinquish and forgo any right of action against Seller that Buyer might come to have on the basis of negligence or strict liability in tort whether for property damage, economic loss, or personal injury caused by use, malfunction of, dangerous condition of, or defect in said goods after they have been relinquished by Seller. Buyer agrees to give warning of the possible hazard to any person(s) to whom Buyer resells or gives or delivers the said goods or whom Buyer can reasonably foresee may be exposed to their hazards.
Mileage is approximate. Successful bidder shall verify the vehicle identification number upon purchase.
